  • *Can I book before the required 30 day advance notice on the travel certificates?
    These do not work for last minute bookings. Customer must book with a minimum of 60-90 days advance notice prior to preferred or selected check in dates. So as long as you are booking more than 60-90 days out we can fulfill based on availability of course. The properties that we work with release their unoccupied inventory to us daily with 60-90 days out, so there is no way around this. Remember, we are filling otherwise empty rooms for the participating properties and this is the time frame that they use to project what their occupancy will be. Based on what their projection is will determine how many allotments they can provide to us for these promotions. The one exception is when and if available if you agree to an upgrade that requires a resort preview, we may be able to get you in with less than 30 days advance notice.

    For the last several years, we've partnered with fundraisers (just like yours) all across U.S to provide an addition stream to capture more donations for most types of fund raising organization. We have several partnership with travel agencies and brokers who contract with hotels to fill what will be otherwise empty hotel rooms. The travel agencies/brokers know we utilize this hotels to help fundraisers raise more donations & hotels don't mind because they would much rather have someone occupying that empty room. The fact is the hotel have fixed costs. They are often forced to drastically lower their rates or offer special promotions (like this one) to help fill this rooms and meet market demands. This is how we fit in. Fundraising quests can now make a donation to your fundraiser and receive a complimentary getaway voucher for their generous donation.
  • Are there any other fees or expenses/costs for me?
    The recipient of this getaway package will receive roundtrip airfare, food discounts, entertainment and 3 days 2 nights luxury hotel accommodation room rate free of charge, which retail is valued at up to $195 per night, in the US and up to $300 per night in Mexico, however recipient is responsible for all other expenses including but not limited to: transfers, gratuities, resort fees if applicable, and any other personal or miscellaneous expenses. Resort fees are common place in the travel industry. As a matter of fact, over 96% of tourists traveling to Orlando or Las Vegas now have to pay a resort fee when they check in at the resort. This is so common now that it’s just expected for any seasoned traveler. Thailand properties do not have a resort fee. Spain properties do not have a resort fee. Resort fees cover items like: WiFi Internet Access, Local Calls, Resort Amenities, Fitness Centers, In-room Safes, Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, Beach/pool towels, activities and more.
  • What are the upgrade options that will be offered to me & will I be forced to upgrade?
    We will offer you some additional incentives and savings you might want to consider. You are never obligated to upgrade, these are just options to further your getaway package enhancement.
  • How can I receive these vacation getaways at such incredibly low donation fees?
    We simply fill otherwise empty rooms which the hotels and resorts turn into additional revenue from these new additional consumers spending money on the property, such as room service, spa, in-house restaurants, bar purchases, casino and extra day stay, etc. Since we fill the empty rooms for the hotels & our fees are very minimal, we are able to keep costs down thus donating more money towards your favorite fundraiser or charity.
  • Can I travel with children?
    The Short answer is yes. However, the majority of the room types available with this complimentary voucher are for a maximum of 2 adults at least 1 occupant must be over the age of 21. The voucher is designed for couples or singles up to 2 adults in a room, some properties however may allow for up to 2 additional children up to the age of 12 in the same room based on room type, and bed configurations. When adding children to your search you are likely to see fewer hotel choices. Most hotels accommodate 2 persons and upgrades for additional persons over 2 may be required based on the hotel of choice. If traveling with extra adults or children upgrades may be available to accommodate. The upgrades require the purchase of additional rooms or larger suites. Prices for upgrade options and or additional children etc. depend on room availability and seasonality so prices cannot be quoted until travel dates are selected. All upgrade options will be online where the end user can select the option to upgrade or continue to search for other participating properties. More than 2 persons will be harder to accommodate with these promotions and in many cases not possible.
  • Are flights included in these vacation packages?
    Yes! We are proud to say that we are the only fundraising and travel club that includes round trip airfare with each destination. The recipient of this certificate is only responsible for all taxes and surcharges that are required with our corresponding affiliates.
  • Do the certificates have an expiration date?
    Yes, our complimentary certificates will be assigned an expiration date 72 hours out from the date it is sent out. Please note that the expiration date shown on the certificates only pertains to the actual activation of the certificate. After you activate a vacation certificate, you will have at least 12-36 months to travel. To activate, you simply need to submit a donation to the featured charity that corresponds to the certificate
  • Can I resell this vacation package?
    No. You may not. Reselling or bartering the certificates will cause us to void the certificate. This violates our terms, conditions, and agreements. The agreements we maintain with our hotel and resort companies prevent us from competing against or jeopardizing their published rack rate. If you were able to sell these certificates, there would be no way to prevent a member from selling our certificates directly to the end user, thereby creating competition and lowering our partner properties’ published rates. So they cannot be sold or bartered for services in anyway. The certificates can be given away as a gift.
  • Can I cancel the activation and get my reservation deposit money back?
    Activating the voucher & paying your taxes or reservation fee are one in the same. We legally cannot pay the taxes or reservation deposit for you nor do we handle the taxes for your complimentary voucher. Any discussion with taxes must be discussed with the corresponding agency once you receive your voucher. If you are having any issues, please reach out to us, we may be able to swap your destination for a different destination based on availability.
  • Are there any blackout dates?
    Unlike all the other promotional offers, blackout dates do not apply with our certificates. You can travel whenever you like including weekends and holidays.
  • When will I receive my vacation package certificate & what if I don’t receive it?
    Once donation is received, you will receive an email from us within 24-48 hours with your vacation certificate ready to be redeemed. Please keep in mind, this certificate MUST be activated within 72 hours of being sent. If you do not receive this in your email, please check your spam folder. Many times with yahoo & gmail accounts, if they do not recognize an email, It may end up in spam. So please check your spam folder before panicking. If you’ve checked your email & your spam folder, simply email us thecharityvacationclub@gmail.com and we will cancel the old certificate & send you a new one. Please note, once activated (within 3 days) you will have 12-36 months to plan any travel arrangements. No rush!
  • Do I get to choose my hotel or resort?
    We promote specific properties with each certificate destination. For Example, currently we are offering 3-4 star hotels and resorts. However If the property we promote is not available we may give you other choices you can pick from. Keep in mind that these are promotional offers that we provide with significant savings on your travel so it’s much better then booking on hotels.com direct and paying full rack rate where you get to choose the hotel. With us, the properties that we work with and that participate in these promotional offers release the unoccupied inventory to us just 60-90 days ahead of time.
  • Is there an age limit & any special requirements I need to be aware of?
    The resorts are requiring that at least 1 person in the party be over the age of 21 for the U.S. resort promotions and 1 person must be over the age of 30 for the Mexico offers and have a passport to travel, they must also have a major credit card to check into the Mexico resorts. 1 person must be over the age of 21 when traveling to Bali, or Thailand. For our U.S. hotel and resort offers, you must also have a Major credit or a bank debit card with Visa or Mastercard logo plus valid government issued ID to check in. Certificate users must also reside at least 100 miles away from the participating resort. So for example, a resident of Orlando cannot use the Orlando stay but instead could use the Las Vegas hotel stay.
